Hello South Africa ...

Again, suddenly, there are many South African connections throughout my days ... at auditions, at bookstores, friends and neighbors.

It's interesting, to say the least.

So, my spirit said to send a big hello to you all.

Happy New Year and I look forward to hearing about your traditions and celebrations and all the good that will appear in your world and the world in 2007.

Much love and light being sent your way from me
Danielle

Thank You, Dankie (Afrikaans), Ke a le bowa (South Sotho), Enkosi (Xhosa), Ngiyabonga(Zulu). You probably know we have 11 official languages and truly are a rainbow nation. I am so glad that you are meeting so many of my fellow citizens It is a lovely country filled with VERY HIGH vibrations and truly instinctive six sensory people.
I am a white South African male who grew up in the "Apartheid Era"; my mother worked and my day mother (maid) was a South Sotho black lady. Melitha was her name. Through her teachings on how to communicate, trust and rely on the messages from her ancestors I started to focus on the "woo-woo" stuff--- which was not allowed in my Calvinistic and conservative culture. She was academically uneducated, but incredibly wise and lived life in spirit every moment of the day. The most important lesson she taught me was that God is very big. “If I could understand everything about God, he would be too small a God for me” she always said when something unexplainable would happen. I guess she helped me to discover my guides (like her ancestors) and to trust the messages they give me.
South Africa is wonderful to life in, you should come and see for yourself.

Hi Danniella
Happy New Year to you aswell.

you should watch out for Henning (patt patt) No gosipping lol He can can speak quite a few languages Wink

Yeah like henning said you need to come to South Africa and experience it, There is so much to tell you about South Africa but cant explain it over the net Wink

Just strange how we both spoke in this forum about the "Rainbow nation" its just great to be part of the new South Africa. one thing that bothers me. Is the word "Appartheid" If i could make a wish, it would be...That people would put the past behind them and move forward. All we have is the "Now"

Every country has it's History. There is also a lot of forgiveness going on here in the RSA. People is learning to trust each other, so we are making progress Very Happy

speak to you soon.
love and Light

Hello and thank you for the responses!

I did not know that South African has 11 official languages ... is French one of them? I majored in French in college because at the time I wanted to speak a world language to be able to communicate with anyone anywhere.

I find that working with Great Spirit was the secret key to communicating from the heart when I travel throughout the world.

; - )

I imagine it is a country with HIGH vibrations ... looking forward to sampling it myself when the time is right.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your day mother Melitha ... what a gift to know who opened us up first to working with our natural connection to Spirit first.

Having a guide to learn how to communicate with Spirit, that's a beautiful beautiful gift. Having someone say to trust the messages, that's great.

Her explanation of God's nature, that is probably the best I've ever heard.

Again, thank you for posting it!

I was blessed to grow up with my grandmother, Catherine, she was a very revolutionary and trendsetting woman who was all lady and all fire.

Even at 86 years old, if she dropped a spool of thread onto our roof, she would climb out like a cat and get it so it wouldn't clog the drains!

Talk about true balance!

And power!

She always told me that travel was an education and silently I always felt her heart telling me to be educated as much as possible.

So even when my time is to be in New Jersey and my travelling has included knowing every neighborhood of New York City while going on auditions ... the internet is a way to transcend time and space and feel a new place like South Africa.

Thank you for sharing so much of your journey with me! What a gift!

> South Africa is wonderful to life in, you should come and see for yourself.

Well, I am open to going to see it for myself.

My teachers always encouraged me NOT to take their words for it, not to believe them, but to test it all out and see for myself.

So, thank you, in advance, Spirit, for the opportunities being created for me to visit South Africa accordingly to God's will and plan for me and for her.

As for the 'Rainbow Nation' ... I don't really know what that is HOWEVER I am all about anything RAINBOW and the colors of the rainbow and get chills when I see that word, so, I look forward to learning more.

Much love from your friendly neighborhood Goddess!

Hi Danniella
Just want to make somethiing clear Smile

We do have 11 official languages . You see, we have a lot of diffrent races here, ( i try my best to make this clear lol) The main 2 languages is. Afrikaans and English. Now all the other, you could say was different tribes. Example: there is people here who speak only : Afrikaans

English
isiNdebele
isiXhosa
isiZulu
Sepedi
Sesotho
Setswana
siSwati
Tshivenda
Xitsonga

They all sound diffrent, Some people here speak , Afrikaans English or about one or two other languages. Some dont even understand English, for them there is another language where they can understand , it is called fannagalo.

Most Afrikaans people can speak English or one other language aswell

Afrikaans people can even understand ,Netherland, belguims as it is also an Germanic language Laughing

Hope it helps Wink
Best wishes and Blessings

Thanks much Sensei ...

It's interesting ... I majored in French and in general there are many countries on the continent of Africa that have French as one of their official languages. I spoke French more in Turkey than English!

So, sometimes I just 'assume' if they don't speak English, I can probably get away with French.

; - )

That's OK ... I need a good challenge, especially with languages ... I will have to work on my Afrikaans (Sp?).

Thanks again for the explanation ... I love learning about South Africa.

In New Jersey, we speak English but it is such a melting pot -- in someways, I feel it's a bigger melting pot than New York City ... there are entire communities of what seems like every religion, culture, and ethnicity.

We have one of the largest Islamic temples in the states as well as one of the largest Hindu temples and they are only a few miles apart.

I imagine if I lived in a state without that much diversity, I might get bored or sad or not feel like I am properly in the world.

The United States are beautiful too ... I have travelled throughout most of the 50 states ... mostly driving cross-country and visitng friends.

I look forward, however, to seeing Africa, particularly South Africa.

Did I tell you, another old friend from college has been to South Africa several times this past year because they have a company there?

Crazy ... I love it ... all signs/roads/lead to South Africa.

Talk to you soon.
