Six Sensory World
Mission Statement:
To collectively raise the vibration and consciousness of all people around the world.
Intention :
To elevate your vibration and connect with your own guidance. This is a time to focus your energy on what you can create together for the highest good of all and the harm of none. You should always leave a Six Sensory® meeting with a higher vibration than what you came in with by being creative and most importantly have fun!
How Do I Start a Group in my Area?
If there is not currently a Six Sensory ® group meeting in your area, why not start one? Below are some tips on how to begin. If you have a sincere desire to connect with other Six Sensories for mutual support and to raise your vibrations, here are a few things you may want to think about….
The foundation of all six sensory® groups is based on the books and teachings of Sonia Choquette. If you would like more structure when starting, a study group is a great way to do it. Pick one of Sonia’s books and each member of the group takes a turn presenting a chapter until you’ve finished the book. This may make it easier for you to move into a more free- flowing meeting if you choose to do that in the future. (see “Sample Meeting (Chicago)” below).
Anyone who has a desire to live a more spirited life and who wants to incorporate six sensory® living into their daily routine is welcome to attend. It is not a prerequisite, but is very helpful, to be familiar with Sonia’s teachings and books.
Set up a local e-mail or phone list so that you can communicate with each other and notify the tribe of any changes with your meetings.
Find a place to meet. If you cannot meet in someone’s home, many cities have public libraries, recreation centers or a metaphysical bookstore with additional space for classes that are available inexpensively or free. In Chicago we utilize a public space with the Unity Church and have a $5 donation per person to pay for our space. 2 hours once or twice a month is sufficient. If the meetings are longer than 2 hours you’re going to lose interest.
Get the word out to people in your local area about your meetings. In Chicago we found word of mouth and E-mails were sufficient to get our group started. If you are going to advertise your group please find an appropriate place to do so and be clear about what the purpose of the group is in the advertisement.
Guidelines For Meetings:
In order for you to call your meetings Six Sensory® these are mandatory guidelines;
Set a high intention for your group! The time that the group is together is sacred and should be held as such. Under no circumstances should your meeting ever become a gripe session. Also under no circumstances should any group or individual profit from a six sensory group. These groups are strictly for six sensory support and psychic advancement. Donations are acceptable if they are intended for a charitable cause or organization.
Downloading with tribe members can be done before or after a meeting, never during a meeting. The temptation is great to want to share all the challenges you experienced during the time apart mingling in the 5 sensory world. We all understand how difficult that can be, but focusing on your challenges will not raise your vibration, it will only leave all of you sitting in the muck. That defeats the purpose of coming together. We highly recommend that everyone prior to and during the meeting be of clear mind, body and spirit. Don't create any more muck by using alcohol or recreational drugs. It will greatly inhibit connecting on a soul level.
Be aware as a tribe you are not there to ‘fix’ anyone. It’s not your job or your business. Give individuals the space and respect they deserve to seek or not seek guidance on their issues. We are not here to be psychologists.
If you are a practitioner, this is not the time for you to be working unless you’re doing a presentation for the tribe. This is a sacred space where all energy is reciprocated. Everyone in the group should be treated as an equal regardless of their experience.
Be respectful. ‘Six Sensories’ are highly sensitive people, more so than the average population. Words and actions that would not necessarily be hurtful in a 5-sensory world may be very hurtful to a six sensory. Please be mindful to the sensitivities of your tribe members.
Laughing and having fun is a must!
Guidelines For Facilitators:
‘Six Sensories’ never work alone. Two facilitators are recommended if possible for each group. In Chicago we have found that this makes the process of the meeting flow much more smoothly.
As facilitators you facilitate. You are participating as part of the whole. You are there to guide the flow of energy during the meeting.
Come to the meeting prepared with the activities for that day. What music you’ll dance to, what games you’ll play, what prayer, intention or affirmation to start with, and what topics will be put up for discussion or presented etc.
While being prepared is helpful and important, be flexible. You may come with one plan but the energy of the group may dictate something else. Don’t be attached to your plans.
It’s recommended that the group do something to get into the moment. In Chicago we use a ‘vibe check’ at the beginning of the meeting to bring everyone’s awareness to the moment of now. Let go of the energy of the week and notice where your energy is now. You can go through your chakras, or do a general assessment of what your energy is, but this should go fairly quickly.
Be mindful of your time. It’s up to you to start on time and end on time. This is where 2 facilitators are especially helpful. If one facilitator is involved in a conversation the other can get things started or can start wrapping it up. 2hrs. once or twice a month is the suggested amount of time for meetings.
If possible be there a little early so you can clear, ground and bless your space before each meeting.
Sonia has a saying, ’Too much talking.’ It is up to you to stop any individual from taking over the meeting with their story. This applies to everyone. Again this is where 2 facilitators are helpful. Be mindful and kind in handling this issue. This is very important, if you allow a tribe member to continually take over with too much talking you’ll lose the group. It’s helpful if everyone leaves their old story at the door.
Be creative. Make up your own games and be open to the tribe’s contributions to new games and activities.
Rotate the facilitator role if that works for your group. Have everyone take a turn.
Helpful Hints:
Your meeting place should be easy to get to with accessible parking.
Be aware of too much talking and tribe members being in their heads. Respectfully call them on it.
Start on time and end on time. Whoever comes in late should just join in the group trying not to interrupt the flow.
Facilitators, be aware of the flow and keep the energy of the meeting moving in a higher vibrational direction.
Have fun!!
Sample Meeting ( Chicago ):
We open with dancing to shake off the cob webs.
A ‘vibe check ‘to get everyone into the moment of now.
Occasionally, we introduce a topic for discussion or have someone share information from a class they’re taking. Make a practice of broadening your knowledge.
Play psychic games. This should be fun for everyone.
Always remember to cut the cords after readings. ‘Se Hetp Na’ means to release, use your hand and arm in a cutting motion and cut those cords!!
End the meeting with a send off, just the way Sonia has shown us. All form a circle and each put a hand in the middle. One person will sum up the energy of that day always in the attitude of gratitude for everyone there. HO!!
